EmbodyPetaluma

Embody launched its first affiliate location in Northern California on September 4, 2019! Thanks to the Petaluma People Services Center, who freely opened their doors to us, we are able to offer access to ongoing physical and wellness education classes for those who need it most. PPSC is dedicated to improving the social and economic health of our community by providing programs that strengthen the dignity and self-sufficiency of the individual. We are so grateful to Elece Hempel and the staff of PPSC for welcoming us with open arms.

We also created community partnerships with COTS and Petaluma Bounty to offer outreach classes within their organizations. COTS is a homeless shelter clinic who mission it is to assist people to transition from homelessness to a permanent home. Their vision is to end homelessness in Sonoma County. EmbodyPetaluma is honored to offer educational classes. Each week at COTS we will connect, breathe, move, and learn the healing tools of chair yoga & mindfulness to help people heal and transform.

Petaluma Bounty's mission is to bring healthy food for everyone through collaboration, education and promoting self-reliance. Each week during harvest season EmbodyPetaluma is bringing yoga and mindfulness education down on the farm, Thursdays 4:30-5:30. This is sacred time to honor yourself, the land, each other and healthy food made accessible to low-income families.

Access is key and Embody is working diligently with these organization in Petaluma to make these practices accessible to all people! SO grateful to the IsaFoundation for the grant that makes it possible for us to do this life affirming work to make the world healthier and happier place and to the Isagenix donors who make it all possible!
