This year-round partnership is dedicated to raising awareness and taking action to help solve childhood hunger. We volunteer making sack suppers, decorating bags, picking vegetables and weeding at their new farm location. Embody offered our second annual “Yoga Down on the Farm” with KFB, offering yoga & mindfulness classes followed by volunteering on the farm by weeding, hoeing & harvesting. Our partnership was featured on Wood tv8 local news with anchor Rachel Ruiz on eight-West.

"Kids' Food Basket is so grateful to Dana and the Embody team for their partnership and support during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since day one of the March school closures, Kids’ Food Basket has been on the front lines. We pivoted and began serving thousands of healthy emergency meals to children and families via 70 distribution sites throughout the four counties we serve (Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa, and Allegan). At a time when we couldn't have volunteers on site, due to the stay-at-home mandate, our staff was responsible for preparing and delivering Sack Supper evening meals to meet the critical need in the community. We truly appreciated the daily respite from the stress and long hours that you provided. The stretches and relaxation exercises were exactly what we needed to keep us centered during a time of change and uncertainty. "
