Join our teacher Melissa as she shares an hour long Ashtanga yoga practice. Beginning with sun salutations, standing poses, followed by yoga for balance, and then cooling down with seated poses and shavasana. This is a perfect practice to focus on your breathing and connect. Join Embody's Team Teacher, Monica Reyna, for a sweet breath based yoga & mindfulness practice. You will work in your root chakra to ground into Mother Earth to welcome spring! All of the poses in this video focus on the root chakra - safety, security, putting down our roots. As we get ready to give birth to good in the world, this practice helps us prepare in our physical body as well as in the mental and emotional aspects of ourselves. Starting with hero pose, this practice incorporates breath-work along with the yoga practice, and ending in a shared meditation.
