EmbodyGR️began March 1, 2014 and we are stronger than ever! Proud to say we are scaling into Northern California by the end of 2019! I will continue my role as Executive Director of Embody in GR leading with our incredible board of directors and an epic yoga teacher team! I will be back in GR regularly for meetings, events & trainings. So just know that though I may not be on the ground in GR daily, i am still hard at work creating & executing our mission and vision to magnify our impact! I am proud to announce our wildly talented yoga teacher team: Peri Jill Phillips Stacy Calcatera Jaron Art Siegel Mimi Ray Melissa Thorndill Leah Grace Jen Byrne Susanne Werblow ‼️Each person brings with them so much experience with diverse backgrounds and specialties! Our board of directors is composed of the passionate & talented Terra Muckenthaler Ford Turrell, Lindsey VanDenBoom, Dr. Chris Dalm, Kirsetin Karamarkovich Morello and introducing our most recent member Koral Fritz! And as always my right hand girl Jesse Moran without whom daily life would be impossible! We are ALL better together! As I now sit in my new home overlooking the hills of Petaluma, California, on the strawberry full moon, I am physically deputed, exhausted- life has taken me to my knees & I surrender; I have reached my limit; I need to rest. Hard for me to admit. My daily OM today read: "Sometimes we need to get sick in order to process something or move something through our bodies. But often we get sick, or feel exhausted, because we don't make the effort to galvanize the power of our minds in the service of our physical health, which is one of its most important functions. We really can use it to communicate to our bodies, yet we often regard the two as separate entities that have little to do with one another." And then my full moon Leo horoscope reminded me that I am: "Looking over the edge of a cliff. Fear and exhilaration are wrapped into one. You’ve come so far on your ascent. Trust that your path continues to go up. Trust that you can be creative in all of the right ways. Fear runs alongside change and sometimes you have to put yourself out on the edge so that you can push into new territory. Keep climbing and keep creating." So there you have it. I need to practice what I teach. Catalyze the power of the mind (mine which has been filled with a lil bit o chaos) to heal my body and remember that we all must stay healthy to keep climbing & creating. And so it is for me, you and us. Happy summer solstice, happy full strawberry full moon & happy international day of yoga. LOVE this time of year! XO, Dana
