Hello Tribe of Goodness,
Exciting news! This last week we launched our first affiliate Embody location in Northern California- EmbodyPetaluma!!! The Petaluma People Service Center freely opened their doors to us to offer our programs to the community. We held our first gathering last week Wednesday night as well as our first volunteer event on Global Giveback Day on Saturday.
I cannot even express how powerful it is to have events and programming happening in Michigan and California on the same day (a little different hour due to the time change ;) On Global Giveback Day, 9/7/19, I woke up with a huge smile knowing we would be harvesting fresh food for the most vulnerable among us in TWO locations. So grateful for our ongoing partnership with Kids' Food Basket in GR and now Petaluma Bounty Farm. They are two beautiful organizations doing critical work in their communities that we are fortunate to align with and roll up our sleeves to give back. And we are so thankful for our sponsors at the Isa Foundation & friends from Isagenix who came out to join us on Global Giveback!
Aren't you excited to know that our impact is magnifying? Follow the journey on facebook here EmbodyPetaluma . If you would, please share EmbodyPetaluma on your page to spread our Feel Better Do Good movement to more people! Instagram is launching this week so be on the look out. So much goodness to bring into the world that needs us so very deeply.
Reminder in GR, tomorrow is Pink Heart Day at City Flats Hotel with our partners at iUnderstand. Peri will be leading the yoga practice!
Also, in GR this Saturday is the Mayor's River Clean Up. Sign up is FREE with Team EmbodyGR (password: feelbetterdogood) and start your weekend off right... in service and then maybe a little Art Prize?!
Go in peace my friends. Shine your light, share your life.
