How are you all holding up? Healthy and safe I hope. 

We have found ourselves in unprecedented, difficult times that no one could have predicted and none of us wanted. We are practicing a new term and way of being I never even considered; physical distancing. Though we all may be sheltered in place, we are not spiritually disconnected. We know each mindful breath connects us one to the other. We have done these practices collectively for years at Embody, not only to be our healthiest, happiest & highest selves, but also to be grounded and prepared when life takes a turn (boy did it turn).

The good news is we are working toward online capability to offer virtual weekly gathering. Wednesday, March 25, we shared a 30-minute yoga flow practice with EmbodyGR Team Teacher Melissa Vannette. She was amazing!! It is posted on facebook. Watch, practice and SHARE with others! We even held our first Facebook Watch Party tonight. Be on the look out for an invitation to join us in an 'interactive yoga' Watch Party on facebook next week.

Until then, know how deeply you are loved, valued, missed and still part of our larger circle of care. Remember you are better than good just as you are! Physical distance cannot divide us; we are connected in one love!

Our Mission

Embody is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to positively impacting global health and well-being for all people. We provide access to physical and mental wellness education for all regardless of race, identity, orientation, creed, abledness, or ability to pay. Using the healing tools of yoga and mindfulness, and through providing meaningful volunteer and service opportunities, we help people regain agency over their own well-being. Our FREE weekly programs and events empower individuals to become healthier, happier, and make the world better in their own way. We are dedicated to improving the quality of people’s daily lives so they can “Feel Better Do Good.
