Our community truly knows how to show up, bring the love, and be the light! Last week was truly beautiful and powerful with two very special events. iUnderstand & EmbodyGR's event brought out over 75 people to City Flats Ballroom which was absolutely gorgeous space! Emily Underwood and Vonnie Woodrick were so fantastic to co-create this event with. Vonnie gave a heartfelt talk about the impact suicide has had on her life and its impetus to start iUnderstand. We practiced yoga & meditation to the transforming talents and sounds of Geoff Lamden. Our own Quinn Burke shared a little of her story about depression and the healing she has found through love, yoga, meditation, community and service. And...we took so many fun photos at the glitter photo booth with our friend from The People Picture Company.

Our very first ever yoga & sacred sound event with soulful musician Johanna Beekman of Portland, Oregon, was so very special. She had us singing, moving, dancing, breathing, some crying and all feeling more love, inspiration and connection. Way to go EmbodyGR with using your voice to sing for love, peace and light! Johanna enjoyed us so much she is for sure coming back next year!!!

Thanks to all of you who showed up 100%! I hope you're still feeling the positive vibes because I sure am.

Here's to the power of community, yoga, meditation, song, and story! You are all so very precious. Deep bow of gratitude for making our community such a welcoming, transformational place for ALL to feel welcome!

Be sure to come out tomorrow, 11/2. Tom Gunnels will be joining us to share his work in the Heartside. Photos, videos, stories, and opportunities for us to get involved!

Cannot wait to see you!

All love,

dana
